How to Play

Stellar Bastion is an endless survival shooter set on the flight deck of a fortress in deep space, where you are the last gunner standing against a swarm of hungry alien bugs. Aiming is handled for you, as your rifle automatically targets the nearest bug, so every decision comes down to where you move. The waves escalate quickly, and every fifth wave a Hive King arrives and makes the whole swarm faster. Fallen bugs sometimes leave heavier weapons behind, such as machine guns, shotguns and rocket launchers, each with limited ammunition, while your trusty sidearm never runs dry. Levelling up offers a choice of perk cards without pausing the action, letting you shape your build on the fly. When things look grim, you can bank your score and end the run on your own terms.

Controls

Hold anywhere with the mouse or touch to walk toward your pointer while your gun fires automatically. On a keyboard, move with WASD or the arrows, switch guns with 1 to 4 and roll with Shift. On-screen buttons pause the game, bank your score, show the mission brief and toggle music.

Tips

1. Keep moving in circles so the swarm never pins you against an edge.
2. Use heavy weapons on big groups and save the sidearm for stragglers.
3. Bank your score when a run starts to slip away.
