How to Play

Fragbyte is a fast first-person survival shooter set inside an arena that looks as if it was sketched in ink. Waves of stick figure enemies pour in without end, each wave harder than the one before, and the question is simply how long you can last. The enemy lineup keeps you on your toes, with ordinary soldiers, brutes hiding behind shields, sprinting blade fighters and snipers with laser sights, plus a powerful boss to cap each run. Your arsenal covers every range, from an assault rifle and pump shotgun to a marksman rifle, a katana and ink grenades. Movement is just as important as aim: wall-jumps, crouch-slides and swings on a grapple hook let you escape danger and reach better angles. Chaining stylish moves with accurate shots is the key to surviving the later waves.

Controls

Move with WASD and aim and shoot with the mouse. Right-click aims down the sight, 1 to 4 switch weapons, G throws an ink grenade and Q fires the grapple hook. Space jumps or double-jumps, Shift sprints and Ctrl or C crouch-slides. On mobile, touch controls work in landscape.

Tips

1. Use the grapple hook to escape when a wave closes in.
2. Take out laser snipers quickly before they lock on.
3. Switch to the shotgun or katana when enemies get close.
