How to Play
Steel Directive: City Zero casts you as an armored enforcer sent to reclaim a city that has fallen into lawlessness. Across twenty missions you battle street gangs and increasingly dangerous robots, with powerful bosses waiting at key points of the campaign. Every mission has goals beyond simply clearing enemies: civilians to rescue, evidence to gather, security systems to disable and an extraction point to reach once the job is done. Tactics matter more than raw firepower. Kneeling behind cover reduces your exposure, scanning reveals useful information, and a quick dodge or a raised shield can turn a losing exchange around. You can swap between several weapons and pick up new ones from the field, while grenades help clear entrenched groups. It is a steady, thoughtful 2D shooter that rewards careful play.
Controls
Move with A and D or the Left and Right arrows and jump with Space. Shoot with a mouse click or J, and kneel with S or C. E interacts or takes a weapon, V scans, Q switches weapons, R reloads, Shift dodges, G throws a grenade, F raises the shield and P pauses. Mobile players use the on-screen buttons.
