How to Play
Museum Night Shift casts you as the guard in a turn-based chase across a museum laid out on hexagons. Each time you step, the thief answers with a move of his own, trying to reach the emerald or slip away. Your job is to read his route, close it off and corner him before the jewel disappears, or to track him down and take it back if he gets there first. Switches on the floor open and shut security gates, which lets you seal whole corridors in a single step, and waiting a turn can be just as useful as moving when the thief is about to walk into a dead end. There is no clock, so every move can be planned calmly. The campaign covers fifty nights across five wings of the museum, and efficient captures earn coins for your exhibit album.
Controls
Click or tap a neighboring hex to move. Click or tap the guard to wait, or press Space on desktop. Step on switches to change gates, drag to pan the board, use Overview to see the whole board, and open settings with Pause.
Tips
- Close the gate nearest an exit first so the thief has fewer routes to choose from.
- Use Overview at the start of each night to spot every switch and exit.
- Waiting can be the strongest move when the thief has to step toward you.
