How to Play

Passenger Airplane: Flight 3D lets you take the controls of a large airliner and fly it around the world. There are two ways to play. World Map Mode sends you along passenger routes between destinations across the globe, while Flight Training Mode teaches the essential skills of a pilot and helps you learn how the aircraft handles. Speed can be raised to two or three times normal when you want long journeys to pass more quickly, and six camera views let you fly from the cockpit, from behind the plane or from out on the wing. Weather can be switched between sunny skies, rain and storms, which changes the feel of each flight. There is no fuel to worry about, so you are free to fly for as long as you like and simply enjoy the view from above.

Controls

A joystick is the default control for easy, smooth flying. Arrow Keys can be selected in the Settings, and a throttle slider controls your speed.

Tips

  1. Start with Flight Training Mode to learn how the plane responds.
  2. Use the faster speed settings on long, straight stretches of a route.
  3. Switch to the cockpit camera for a more realistic view when nearing a destination.
