How to Play

Formula Car Circuit Racing puts you in the cockpit of an open-wheel race car on a series of closed circuits. Line up against a field of rivals, get away cleanly at the start and work your way through the pack lap after lap. Overtaking is where races are won and lost: brake a little later than the car ahead, take a tighter line into the corner and you can slip past on the exit. Sharp bends punish anyone who arrives too fast, so learning where to slow down on each track matters as much as top speed. Several circuits stand between you and the championship, and chasing quicker lap times is a good way to improve between races. It suits players who enjoy the precision of single-seater racing more than chaotic arcade action.

Controls

Accelerate with W or the Up arrow key and brake with S or the Down arrow key. A or the Left arrow key turns left, and D or the Right arrow key turns right. B looks back, C changes the camera view, and a mouse click is used to interact.

Tips

  1. Learn the sharpest bends of each circuit during the first lap.
  2. Use the look back view to defend your position on straights.
  3. Brake in a straight line before turning rather than while steering.
